Discover Terracotta, a fragrance bursting with sunshine, inspired by the glowing radiance of Terracotta. An immediate escape to a faraway exotic paradise. Guerlain Master Perfumer, Thierry Wasser, has interpreted the iconic Terracotta Powder to create fragrance that bursts with sunshine. This highly faceted perfume opens with fresh and addictive bergamot notes. The heart of the fragrance reveals a tiare flower-ylang ylang accord with a sensual signature featuring a soft, all-enveloping vanilla note. One of Guerlain's favorite notes, the vanilla signature draws floral and almond accents. A sunny fragrance. Designed by Raymond Guerlain in 1912, its iconic "inverted heart" bottle is underscored with graceful scrolls typical of Art Nouveau. A true technical feat, its avant-garde stopper, in the form of a hollowed heart, evokes the delicate romanticism of this perfumery masterpiece. Fragrance family is White Floral. Top notes are Bergamot, Coconut Milk. Heart notes are Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Tiare Flower Accord, Orange Blossom. Base note are Vanilla, White Musk, Benzoin.   Why It’s Escentual: Guerlain Terracotta is an iconic solar perfume. It was first released in 2014 as a 30th-anniversary tribute to the Terracotta bronzing Powder. Since then, everyone has fallen in love with its sweet, warm aroma that makes anyone who wears it feel like a glowing goddess. For 2024, Guerlain has updated the bottle; the original round bottle has been replaced with one of Guerlain’s oldest and most luxurious fragrance bottle styles. If you're a long-time fan, rest assured that the composition hasn't been changed.   The Best Way To Use It: Target areas where the blood vessels are closest to the skin, allowing the fragrance to emanate. Common pulse points include the wrists, neck, behind the ears, and inner elbows. Resist the urge to rub your wrists together after applying perfume. This can break down the fragrance molecules and alter the scent. Hold the perfume bottle about 6–8 inches away from your skin when spraying. This ensures a more even distribution of the fragrance. Keep your perfume in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations. This helps maintain the integrity of the fragrance. If your perfume fades throughout the day, consider reapplying to pulse points or areas where your skin is warm.
